Entropy Neurodynamics (ASX:ENP) secured a South African patent for its psilocin crystalline formulations running through September 2043.

The approval follows the grant of a corresponding Australian patent, numbered 2023343417, issued earlier in 2026.

CEO Jason Carroll said, "The grant of our South African patent represents another positive step in expanding our international IP portfolio, following the successful grant of our corresponding Australian patent earlier this year."

South African patent 2025/03086 covers crystalline forms offering improved stability, solubility, and manufacturing consistency over conventional formulations.

Entropy stated that the expanded portfolio supports future clinical development, international licensing, and strategic partnership opportunities.

Following the announcement, the Entropy share price was unchanged at $0.029.

The new intellectual property complements the company's proprietary intravenous psilocin delivery platform known as TRP-8803.

Entropy continues progressing international patent applications covering formulations, dosing methods, and therapeutic indications across multiple regions.
