Eminence Minerals (ASX:EMA) has commenced field exploration across its three pending exploration licence application areas at the Tayra Rare Earth Project in Bahia, Brazil.
The new exploration phase at Tayra contrasts with prior desktop assessments, which evaluated topographical slope parameters and regional radiometric data across the three application sites.
Eminence Minerals CEO Anthony Hills commented, “The commencement of field exploration at Tayra marks an important step in the systematic evaluation of this rare earth exploration opportunity within the Itarantim–Maiquinique district.”
Field operations at Tayra involve detailed geological mapping, systematic channel sampling, and targeted rock sampling to evaluate potential ionic-adsorption clay rare earth mineralisation.
Eminence Minerals stated that the programme aims to establish a stronger geological dataset while concurrent auger drilling continues at its nearby Campo Grande Project.
Following the announcement the Eminence Minerals share price was unchanged at $0.04.
The company recently expanded its critical minerals exploration portfolio in Bahia, Brazil, by applying for licence areas adjacent to the tenure held by IMC Rare Earths (NYSE American:IMC).
