Elsight secures US$2M US public safety order
Elsight (ASX:ELS) has clinched a follow-on purchase order valued at approximately US$2 million from an American public safety sector customer.
The repeat contract represents a fourfold increase over the initial US$460,000 order placed in January, signalling strong operational validation of Elsight’s proprietary Halo connectivity platform and marking a clear progression towards scaled field deployment.
The commercial momentum perfectly coincides with accelerating regulatory tailwinds across the United States drone market, where the Federal Aviation Administration is currently finalising highly anticipated rules governing routine Beyond Visual Line of Sight flights.
The impending structural reforms are widely projected to act as a powerful catalyst for widespread commercial uncrewed aviation adoption, unlocking substantial demand within critical public safety frameworks such as drone as a first responder systems, emergency disaster response, and real-time situational awareness.
Furthermore, Elsight continues to rapidly strengthen its position within the US defence sector.
The latest commercial breakthrough closely follows the company’s milestone achievement in April, when the Halo platform was officially approved for inclusion on the prestigious US DCMA Blue UAS Cleared List—the Department of Defence's primary catalogue for rapid technology acquisition.
At the time of reporting, Elsight’s share price was $7.18.
