
Elixir Energy reports gas flows at appraisal well

Elixir Energy (ASX:EXR) commenced its transition into sustained gas flows at the Lorelle-3H appraisal well.
Gas breakthrough occurred at 6,300 psi compared to the expected reservoir pressure of 6,350 psi.
The company executed a controlled drawdown of the well through a 12/64th choke on June 29.
Flowing wellhead pressures declined from 3,200 psi to 1,680 psi before rising to 1,770 psi.
Following the announcement, the Elixir Energy share price was up at $0.13.
Elixir is aiming to appraise 3.5 trillion cubic feet of independently certified contingent gas resources.
The company previously completed a 12-stage fracture stimulation programme at the site in late June.
