EDU Holdings enrolments grow 32% in Trimester 2
Tertiary education provider EDU Holdings (ASX:EDU) reported strong enrolment growth for its Trimester 2, 2026 reporting period.
The company experienced a 32% rise in total student enrolments compared to the previous corresponding period, climbing to 7,036 students from 5,321 previously.
Growth was heavily driven by its higher education division, Ikon Institute, which saw enrolments spike by 57% to reach 5,847 students, accounting for 83% of the entire group's intake.
Year-to-date figures also paint a positive picture for the group, showing a 34% increase to 13,663 total enrolments.
The group's new student enrolments rose by 12% to 963, up from 859 in the PCP, with Ikon representing an overwhelming 91% of these new commencements.
Company commentary highlights that this performance reflects resilient international student demand, alongside strong domestic growth and sustained momentum within postgraduate programmes.
International NSEs grew by 12% against the PCP, defying recent regulatory changes that have disrupted the onshore transfer market.
While EDU Holdings noted that it remains too early to fully gauge the long-term impacts of these policy shifts, management expressed encouragement over the early uptake of its newly deployed onshore recruitment model.
