DXN (ASX:DXN), a specialist in prefabricated modular data centres, has secured a landmark $5.3 million contract with a prominent global internet company.
The agreement involves the design, manufacture, and commissioning of a turnkey cable landing station solution to be deployed in South America.
The project represents a critical strategic milestone for the Perth-based firm, marking its official entry into the high-growth Latin American market and further solidifying its reputation amongst hyperscale and tier-1 technology operators.
The contract is notable as a repeat order from the unnamed customer, underscoring the trust placed in DXN’s ability to deliver mission-critical infrastructure that connects continents via subsea cable networks.
The modular CLS will be a carrier-grade, high-availability facility featuring DXN’s proprietary platform, fully integrated with advanced power, cooling, fire suppression, and security monitoring systems.
By opting for a prefabricated modular design, the customer benefits from a streamlined deployment process for essential internet backbone infrastructure.
Manufacturing is scheduled to commence immediately at DXN’s specialised facility in Welshpool, Western Australia.
Following rigorous factory acceptance testing, the modules are slated for despatch during the second half of 2026.
On-site installation and commissioning in South America are targeted for completion by the first quarter of 2027.
Managing Director Shalini Lagrutta highlighted that the deal validates the company’s technical capability to support the global rollout of hyperscale internet capacity in increasingly complex environments.
At the time of reporting, DXN's share price was $0.027.
