Duratec secures $70M in new contracts

Australian engineering contractor Duratec (ASX:DUR) has secured four new contracts with a combined value of approximately $70 million.

The agreements span the energy, marine, and mining sectors, highlighting demand across established and emerging infrastructure markets.

"This award reflects Duratec's ongoing expansion into the energy and decarbonisation sector," said Duratec Managing Director Chris Oates.

Key work includes a 30-month Fremantle Ports project and a three-year wharf remediation contract for Rio Tinto at Gove.

Following the announcement, the Duratec share price was unchanged at $2.22 as the company targeted future infrastructure expansion.

Over the past year, Duratec shares rose 59% compared to a 1% gain for the All Ordinaries Index.

Duratec continues to leverage its regional expansion in Western Australia and the Hunter Region to secure major industrial contracts.
