Dreamworld precinct redevelopment clears regulatory hurdle
The redevelopment of the Dreamworld precinct has cleared a regulatory hurdle.
Coast Entertainment (ASX:CEH) confirmed that the State Assessment and Referral Agency has issued its referral response to the Queensland Deputy Premier and Minister for State Development, Infrastructure and Planning.
The application, which is currently the subject of a ministerial call-in, has received SARA's conditional support.
The company noted that these conditions align closely with expectations previously mapped out by CEH and its town planning advisors during prior discussions with the state government.
The comprehensive evaluation has now been handed over to the minister for final consideration. With SARA’s crucial backing secured, the definitive decision regarding the preliminary approval and development application rests solely with the minister.
Coast Entertainment expects the minister's final verdict to be handed down in the coming weeks.
