DPM Metals (ASX:DPM) has reported its preliminary second-quarter production results for 2026, delivering 102 Koz of gold equivalent ounces across its consolidated operations.

The production output reflects the performance of the Chelopech mine alongside the ongoing operational ramp-up at the Vareš asset.

“Driven by strong performance from Chelopech and the ongoing ramp-up of Vareš, we delivered increased gold equivalent production in the second quarter,” said DPM Metals President and CEO David Rae.

The company processed 884 Kt of ore and sold 87 Koz of gold equivalent ounces while returning over US$49 million to shareholders through share repurchases during the quarter.

Following the announcement, the DPM Metals share price was down at $46.12.

The international mining operator expanded its exploration footprint in June 2026 by announcing a new high-grade gold-copper porphyry discovery at the Brevene South Project.

The exploration milestone follows previous drilling updates from the Chelopech Wedge Zone Deep prospect as part of the company's broader asset development strategy.
