
Dexus CFO Keir Barnes steps down
- Dexus CFO Keir Barnes is stepping down after seven years at Dexus.
- Shares traded down following the planned executive transition update.
- Barnes will remain active in her role until mid-December 2026 as an internal and external search begins.
Dexus (ASX:DXS) announced that CFO Keir Barnes will step down after seven years with the real estate group.
The executive departure follows four years of support from Kerri Leech, who was recently appointed as Deputy CFO.
"Keir has made a significant contribution to Dexus in a range of roles and has been a valued member of the executive team," said Dexus Group CEO and Managing Director Ross Du Vernet.
The company confirmed that Barnes will remain in her current role until mid-December 2026 while a recruitment process for her replacement takes place.
Following the announcement the Dexus share price was down at $5.58.
The real estate group manages a high-quality property portfolio across office, industrial, and retail assets in major Australian markets.
The business continues to execute its long-term strategy of active asset management and funds management expansion.
