- Denison Gas appoints investment bank Rothschild to secure co-investors for its Baffle Creek Gas Project.
- The unlisted gas developer generates funding to scale up production beyond its existing pilot operations.
- The partnership aims to accelerate gas development and increase domestic supply along the East Coast.
Unlisted developer Denison Gas has appointed investment bank Rothschild to conduct preliminary marketing for potential co-investors to fund its Queensland gas project.
The advisory hiring comes as the company seeks external capital following initial project development.
“Baffle Creek has significantly increased our development opportunities, and we are now considering the best way to secure the capital to bring substantially more gas to the East Coast market,” said Denison Gas Executive Chairman Xingjin Wang.
The project site holds an estimated 566 petajoules of gas within the broader geological system.
The strategic push follows recent commercial supply tenders to support future delivery schedules.
The developer recorded earnings before interest, tax, depreciation, and amortisation of $76.9 million for the 2025 financial year.
Operational cash flow reached $77.5 million as total domestic market deliveries surpassed 54 petajoules.
