Delorean's Salisbury Project secures GreenPower accreditation

Share

Delorean Corporation (ASX:DEL) announced that its flagship SA1 Salisbury Project has been accredited under GreenPower’s renewable gas certification framework.

The National GreenPower Accreditation Programme has been a cornerstone of the voluntary renewable electricity market since 1997.

The new expansion into gas enables commercial and industrial consumers to directly offset their fossil fuel usage by purchasing verified renewable gas certificates.

As a newly accredited facility, Delorean’s SA1 Project is now eligible to create, transfer, and retire Renewable Gas Guarantee of Origin certificates tied directly to its physical renewable gas production.

The commercial framework provides a nationally recognised mechanism for heavy gas users to make verifiable emission reduction claims, effectively lowering their Scope 1 emissions while actively supporting the growth of the domestic renewable gas sector.

To secure the accreditation, Delorean underwent a rigorous assessment process, proving the project meets GreenPower’s strict eligibility criteria, which encompass stringent environmental, social, and operational best-practice standards.

The landmark approval positions Delorean at the forefront of Australia’s emerging green gas market.
