Lara Brown, political scientist and author of the forthcoming book: Jefferson's Landmark Deal: The Politics of the Louisiana Purchase, said that Democrats are experiencing 'completely normal cycle' for a party that lost the last presidential election, as it searches for its new path forward. Brown said that Democrat primaries last night, including Abdul El-Sayed's win over Hailey Stevens in Michigan, don't paint a major narrative other than the role of the economy.
