Dart Mining hits high-grade gold at Banshee prospect
Dart Mining (ASX:DTM) has uncovered high-grade gold, silver, and antimony intercepts during its latest diamond drilling campaign at the Banshee prospect, part of the Coonambula joint venture project near Eidsvold in Central Queensland.
The newly received assay results from holes CBADD014 through CBADD022 trace the main mineralised lode over a continuous strike length of more than 500m, confirming that the historic system remains wide open for expansion both to the east and the west.
The standout result came from drill hole CBADD019, which intercepted a broad zone of 5.8m grading 1.73 grammes per tonne gold, 11.57 g/t silver, and 4.76% antimony from a depth of 53.7m.
The intercept features an ultra-high-grade core of 0.85m returning a spectacular 26.66% antimony, 71.12 g/t silver, and 2.18 g/t gold.
Additionally, hole CBADD018 returned a strong interval of 6.1m at 1.11 g/t gold and 0.5% antimony, including a gold-rich zone of 0.7m at 4.59 g/t gold.
The results prove that the deposit contains a highly lucrative, metal-rich core within a broader gold system that extends down-dip from the historical Banshee workings.
Dart Mining’s exploration team has completed 4,100m of diamond drilling to date, with another 15 batches of core samples already dispatched to the laboratory.
The company plans to fast-track metallurgical test work and 3D modelling as it drives towards declaring an initial JORC-compliant mineral resource estimate, which will elevate Dart's equity stake in the project to 51%.
At the time of reporting, Dart Mining’s share price was $0.019.
