Cosmos Exploration (ASX:C1X) confirmed its subsidiary will acquire a German direct lithium extraction pilot plant for €1 million from Vulcan Energy (ASX:VUL).

The confirmation follows a preliminary sale agreement executed by the involved parties in August 2025.

The transaction ensures immediate access to verified processing hardware for direct lithium extraction development.

The company completed an initial payment of €125,000 and will settle the €875,000 balance subsequently.

Following the announcement, the Cosmos Exploration share price was up at $0.12.

The facility will support performance optimisation initially focused on brine assets located in Bolivia.

The transaction aligns with a broader corporate merger completed by the firm in May.
