Coronado Global Resources (ASX:CRN) announced a reshuffle of its executive leadership, following the resignation of CEO and Managing Director Douglas Thompson.

Thompson will depart at the end of business on March 31.

Taking the helm as Interim CEO on 1 April is Gerry Spindler, a former CEO of the company who currently serves as executive chair.

While stepping into the interim role, Spindler will maintain his seat on the board as a director.

The board has appointed current director Greg Pritchard to succeed Spindler as chair of the board, with all leadership changes set to take effect from the start of April.

At the time of reporting, Coronado Global Resources' share price was $0.32.
