  • Corazon Mining launches its first reverse circulation drilling programme at the Feather Cap Gold Project to test shallow high-grade gold zones.
  • Market participants responded as the company's share price traded up at $0.092 following the announcement.
  • The exploration programme is driven by the company's strategy to systematically validate historical mineralisation and assess future resource definition potential.

Corazon Mining (ASX:CZN) has commenced a maiden 2,000-metre, 20-hole reverse circulation drilling programme at the Wembley gold prospect within its Feather Cap Gold Project in Western Australia.

The current programme steps out approximately 250m along strike and beneath historic workings to evaluate if known high-grade zones form a larger continuous mineralised system.

Corazon stated that the drilling represents an important step in systematically validating historical mineralisation, establishing the geometry and continuity of the Wembley system, and assessing its potential to support future resource definition.

The exploration effort follows historical drilling at Wembley that returned gold from as shallow as 6m below surface, alongside a historic mine production of approximately 1,050 ounces of gold between 1926 and 1935.

The company stated that drilling is expected to be completed by the end of August 2026, with first assay results anticipated during October 2026.

Following the announcement, the Corazon Mining share price was up at $0.092.

The Feather Cap project covers approximately 154km2 within the Bryah-Padbury Basin and is located close to Westgold Resources' Fortnum operations.
