Cooper Metals completes maiden Mt Isa Project drilling

Cooper Metals (ASX:CPM) completed its maiden drilling programme at Mt Isa East Project, finding visible sulphides at 40–47 metres downhole.

The exploration programme followed earlier fieldwork where surface rock-chip samples returned copper grades up to 14.45%.

The company targeted the regional mineralised corridor located immediately north of the Mount Hope project.

Following the announcement, the Cooper Metals share price was unchanged at $0.057.

The explorer previously secured a regulatory grant of $116,532 under the Queensland government collaborative exploration initiative.

Management intends to use laboratory assays from these initial holes to plan subsequent exploration campaigns across its tenements.
