
Cooper Metals completes acquisition issuing 15 million shares
- Cooper Metals finalised the acquisition of a 100% interest in the Pyramid Gold Project in Queensland.
- The company issued 15 million shares to seller AIC Mines alongside raising $102,500 from directors.
- Exploration activities and stakeholder engagement have commenced to prepare for maiden drilling plans.
Cooper Metals (ASX:CPM) has completed the acquisition of a 100% interest in the Pyramid Gold Project in Queensland.
The asset lies within the Drummond Basin, a region with a known gold endowment exceeding 5 million ounces.
"We are pleased to complete this acquisition with AIC Mines (ASX:A1M) and we welcome them as a new substantial shareholder of the company," said Cooper Metals Executive Director Tim Armstrong.
To settle the deal, Cooper Metals issued 15 million 12-month escrowed shares to seller AIC Mines (ASX:A1M).
Following the announcement, the Cooper Metals share price was unchanged at $0.058.
Historical drilling at the property previously returned high-grade intercepts, including 8m at 7.31 grammes per tonne of gold.
The company stated that field activities and stakeholder engagement are underway to fast-track its upcoming drilling programme.
