Cryptocurrency giant Coinbase is set to broaden its footprint in the Australian market after its local subsidiary successfully secured an Australian Financial Services Licence from the Australian Securities and Investments Commission.

Following the regulatory approval, the company announced via social media that it will initially offer crypto and equity perpetuals to local users, with plans to introduce futures and options trading shortly thereafter.
