  • Cogstate reported group revenue of US$60.9 million for the 2026 financial year, marking a 15% increase compared to the previous year.
  • Following the full-year financial report, the company share price traded at $2.71 on the Australian Securities Exchange.
  • The company stated that the performance was driven by sustained demand across its clinical trials portfolio and ongoing technology investments.

Cogstate (ASX:CGS) announced its financial results for the year ended June 30, delivering group revenue of US$60.9 million alongside a net profit after tax of US$11.9 million.

Group revenue rose 15% to US$60.9 million from US$53.1 million in FY25.

EBITDA of US$18.3 million at 30% margin and EBIT of US$15.2 million at 25% margin. Gross profit increased to US$35.4 million.

"These results highlight the scalability of our model and the growing demand for our science-led, technology-enabled solutions that improve trial quality across Alzheimer’s disease, psychiatric and mood disorders, sleep, rare disease and other neurological indications," said Cogstate CEO and Managing Director Brad O'Connor.

The company reported operating cash inflows of US$8.5 million and closed the financial period with a cash balance of US$34.8 million and no debt.

The company stated that disciplined capital allocation and investments in technology and AI-enabled scale are expected to support its ongoing operations and growth initiatives.

The healthcare segment remains a smaller but strategically important contributor to overall group revenue, underpinned by Cogstate’s partnership with Eisai.

The board has declared the company’s second fully franked dividend of $0.04 US per ordinary share.

Following the announcement, the Cogstate share price was down at $2.71.

Starting record contracted future revenue of US$118.5 million, up 32% on FY25, including US$48.3 million already expected to be recognised in FY27, provides strong earnings visibility.

Consistent with recent years, it is expected that FY27 will demonstrate a second-half bias, with financial results for the Jun-27 half-year expected to be stronger than the Dec-26 half-year.
