
Clarity Pharmaceuticals hits target for SECuRE trial cohort

Clarity Pharmaceuticals (ASX:CU6) completed recruitment for the main group of its Phase 1/2a SECuRE trial evaluating 16 patients with metastatic castration-resistant prostate cancer.
The trial aims to assess treatment safety across a target group of 24 total participants before they receive taxane or radioligand-based therapies.
"Our SAR-bisPSMA programmes continue to generate an impressive evidence base in clinical trials and real-world case profiles," said Clarity Pharmaceuticals Executive Chairperson Dr Alan Taylor.
Data from 19 participants reported on Aug. 5 showed that 74% achieved a prostate-specific antigen reduction of at least 25% after receiving treatment cycles.
The business is now planning a registrational Phase 3 trial based on preliminary trial results.
Following the announcement, the Clarity Pharmaceuticals share price was unchanged at $1.96.
