Cettire targets China growth with Tmall launch

Share

Online luxury fashion retailer Cettire (ASX:CTT) is set to expand its footprint in China after announcing the upcoming launch of a flagship store on Alibaba's Tmall Global.

The move will see the company join Tmall Global’s exclusive Luxury Pavilion, effectively securing storefronts on China's two largest e-commerce platforms alongside its existing presence on JD.com and its direct-to-consumer website, cettire.cm.

The expansion is designed to improve market access and strengthen its customer offering while continuing to leverage its global supply chain without the need to hold local inventory.

The Tmall Global launch is currently subject to technical integration and is scheduled to go live in the first quarter of financial year 2027.

Cettire founder and CEO Dean Mintz stated that the partnership would broaden the company’s routes to market in what remains the world’s largest luxury goods market.
