CBA online banking crippled by major outage
Hundreds of Commonwealth Bank of Australia (ASX:CBA) customers have been left stranded on Jan. 28, as a significant technical failure brought the institution's online banking services to a standstill.
Social media platforms were flooded with reports from frustrated users unable to process digital transactions, access the mobile app, or withdraw cash from ATMs.
The disruption has caused widespread logistical headaches for retail and business clients alike, with many reporting failed payments at point-of-sale terminals during peak morning hours.
At the time of reporting, Commonwealth Bank’s share price was $150.36.
