Saudi Arabia Joins US in Striking Iran-Backed Militias in Iraq

Saudi Arabia said late Tuesday it intercepted drones launched by Tehran-backed militias in Iraq that were targeting its oil facilities for a second straight day. The US and Saudi Arabia then jointly hit weapons and other sites belonging to "Iran-aligned terrorists" in Iraq, the American military said. Col. Roknifard: Iran Strategic With Use of Allies' Attacks

The US says it has intercepted several Iranian ballistic missiles on its military bases - breaking the brief pause in fighting in the Middle East. SK Hynix Drops as Profit Disappoints

SK Hynix shares slide by a daily record of around 19% in Seoul Wednesday, erasing early gains after the memory maker reported lower-than-expected operating profit for the second quarter and announced plans for higher spending. The company earmarked at least $31 billion in capital spending this year after reporting a six-fold surge in quarterly profit. Bloomberg's Anthony Stephens reports.
