Burns: 'Mistake' Allowing Nvidia to Sell to China

Former US Ambassador to China Nicholas Burns speaks to Bloomberg News's David Gura on Tuesday at the Aspen Security Forum about the perils of Nvidia's advanced AI chips being shipped to China as well as the geopolitical and global market consequences in the wake of the collapse of the US-Iran interim peace deal. Speaking on the sidelines of the Aspen Security Forum in Colorado, Burns says President Trump is "making a major mistake" by allowing Nvidia to sell its products to one of the US's biggest rivals.

JPM's Faller Sees Broadening Case Even as AI Leads Gains

Madison Faller, investment strategist at JPMorgan Private Bank, says that concentration and broadening can exist side-by-side in equity portfolios as investors assess the momentum of the artificial intelligence trade. "AI, and tech broadly speaking, is leading the strength it's doing more of the heavy lifting," Faller tells Bloomberg Television. "But at the same time we are seeing more sectors participate within that, with ten of eleven S&P 500 sectors expected to produce profit growth this quarter."
