Carnavale Resources appoints Humphrey Hale as managing director
Carnavale Resources (ASX:CAV) formalised the elevation of mining industry veteran Humphrey Hale to the role of managing director, effective immediately.
Hale, who has served as the company’s CEO for several years, is tasked with transitioning the high-potential Kookynie Gold Project from its exploration phase into active production.
Since joining the firm in July 2020, Hale has been instrumental in the discovery of high-grade gold deposits at the Swiftsure and Tiptoe prospects.
Under his leadership, the company is fast-tracking a bankable feasibility study for the KGP, with finalisation anticipated in early Q3 2026.
Hale brings a formidable pedigree to the position, having previously served as exploration manager at AngloGold Ashanti’s Sunrise Dam Gold Mine and managing director at Wolf Minerals.
Non-Executive Chairman Andy Beckwith noted that Hale’s "passion for operational excellence" would ensure the company is well-positioned to capitalise on current and future market opportunities.
Reflecting on his new mandate, Hale expressed his commitment to delivering value for shareholders, stating that the company remains on the hunt for additional strategic opportunities while maintaining its primary focus on the KGP.
The internal promotion signals a period of continuity and aggressive growth for Carnavale as it prepares to enter the ranks of gold producers.
At the time of reporting, Carnavale Resources’ share price was $0.12.
