Broken Hill Mines (ASX:BHM) expanded September 2026 quarter silver output to 102,922 ounces as ore processing grew 8.2% quarter-on-quarter.

Quarterly ore throughput reached 129,084 tonnes, up from 119,320 tonnes in the June 2026 quarter and 117,261 tonnes in September 2025.

Operations exposed the first full bench of clean high-grade ore at the Pinnacles open pit, with mining and trucking to the Rasp plant currently underway.

The business processed ore at an annualised rate of 516,000 tonnes per annum, operating at approximately 69% of plant capacity.

The miner stated that the Tailings Dewatering Plant remains on schedule for availability in the first half of calendar year 2027 to support its 750,000 tonnes per annum utilisation target.

An $85 million capital raise strengthened the balance sheet to finance ongoing throughput and grade expansion strategies across multiple ore bodies.
