Botala Energy welcomes new CFO

Botala Energy (ASX:BTE) appointed Rory Burn as CFO effective July 1 to add 20 years of experience.
The executive expansion marks a shift from early exploration towards commercial production at the company's gas assets.
"Expansion of the finance team is a sign of Botala’s projected growth," said Botala Energy CEO Kris Martinick.
The company stated that this appointment will support its objective of achieving commercial flow rates at the Pitse Pilot Project.
Following the announcement, the Botala Energy share price was up at $0.045.
Burn previously managed treasury and commercial roles for energy projects at Woodside Energy.
The company continues to develop its Serowe coal-bed methane project to secure regional gas supply agreements.
