Boom Logistics (ASX:BOL) has secured an $18 million contract to provide wet hire crane services for Neoen’s Narrogin Wind Farm in Western Australia.
The contract provides immediate momentum for the lifting services business compared to prior project periods by securing 35 weeks of continuous operational work.
"Supporting Neoen’s Narrogin Wind Farm project aligns with Boom’s strategic direction to assist in the build-out of renewable power sources for Australia's energy transition," said Boom Logistics Managing Director and CEO Lester Fernandez.
Under the agreement with the UGL & CPB Joint Venture, the company will assist with installing Envision Energy wind turbines across the 179 MW renewable energy project.
The 35-week project marks the initial revenue launch for the company's FY27 wind division.
Following the announcement, the Boom Logistics share price was unchanged at $2.44.
The project involves installing key components across 23 EN182-7.8 MW wind turbines located near Narrogin and Williams.
The contract helps build an operational relationship with CPB and UGL for future wind energy infrastructure developments.
