Blackstone Minerals (ASX:BSX) announced that Managing Director Scott Williamson will resign, effective Jan. 31, 2026.

The board expressed its gratitude for Williamson's contributions and wished him success in his future endeavors.

To maintain leadership continuity, Non-Executive Director Geoff Gilmour has been appointed as executive chairman, effective immediately, while the company searches for a permanent CEO or Managing Director.

Additionally, geologist Greg Cunnold, formerly a director at IDM with expertise in the Mankayan Copper-Gold Project in the Philippines, has joined the board as a non-executive Director, enhancing its technical capability during this transition.
