Biome secures exclusive Probiotical supply extension through 2028
Biome Australia (ASX:BIO) solidified its long-term strategic foundation by executing a two-year extension to its exclusive supply agreement with Probiotical.
The pivotal renewal ensures that the partnership, which has been a cornerstone of Biome’s operations since its incorporation in 2018, will now continue through 2028.
By maintaining the existing commercial terms, the agreement provides the company with a stable and predictable "runway" to execute its ambitious international expansion across key markets, including Canada, the United Kingdom, Ireland, and New Zealand.
The extension replaces the previous contract, which was originally slated to expire in June.
Probiotical remains one of Biome’s most vital strain partners, and this continued collaboration is viewed as a primary driver for the company’s ability to scale its global footprint.
Beyond securing its international supply chain, Biome is simultaneously focused on domestic resilience through its Australian manufacturing offshoring programme.
The initiative, aimed at bringing production closer to home, is reportedly progressing well and remains a key pillar of the company’s broader supply chain strategy.
Investors and stakeholders can expect further transparency regarding these domestic developments, as Biome has committed to providing a comprehensive update on its Australian manufacturing progress within the 2026 calendar year.
At the time of reporting, Biome Australia’s share price was $0.28.
