Beforepay Group (ASX:B4P) has appointed Deputy CEO Kasey Kaplan as its new CEO and managing director, replacing Jamie Twiss after more than five years leading the business.

The executive succession follows a structured review process conducted by the board with assistance from an external search advisor.

“It’s been a privilege to lead Beforepay Group over the last five years, from our early days as a private company through the IPO, the march to profitability, the launch of our Personal Loan product, and the formation of Carrington Labs,” said Beforepay Group CEO Jamie Twiss.

Kaplan previously joined the group in September 2021 and played a key role in scaling its consumer lending business and developing Carrington Labs.

The board stated that Kaplan's background in fintech and technology positioning makes him ideally suited to lead the business into its next phase of commercial growth.

Following the announcement, the Beforepay Group share price was unchanged at $1.31.

Beforepay operates as an ASX-listed fintech provider offering pay advance services and AI-powered credit analytics through Carrington Labs.

The group has expanded its portfolio in recent years by launching personal loan products while building distribution channels across the United States and Australia.
