Ballymore Resources hits high grade silver at Ruddygore Project
- Ballymore Resources confirmed high-grade silver, lead, zinc, and indium mineralisation at its Torpy's discovery within the Ruddygore Project.
- Drill hole BTPRC013 yielded significant high-grade intersections, including up to 580.4 g/t silver, 25.88% lead, and 10.08% zinc.
- The explorer extended mineralisation 40m up-dip and is preparing a drone magnetic survey to identify further drill targets.
Ballymore Resources (ASX:BMR) has received further high-grade silver, lead, zinc, and indium assay results from drilling at its Torpy's discovery near Chillagoe in North Queensland.
The latest drilling results extend mineralisation 40m up-dip from previous drill holes, building on significant intersections reported earlier in the programme.
"The combination of shallow mineralisation, strong grades and multiple additional targets gives us confidence that Torpy has considerable potential to grow," said Ballymore Managing Director David A-Izzeddin.
Individual 1m samples returned peak grades of up to 898.0 g/t silver, 39.59% lead, and 10.35% zinc.
Following the announcement, the Ballymore Resources share price was unchanged at $0.14.
The company is preparing to conduct a detailed drone magnetic survey to assist in identifying additional drill targets across the greater Torpy's district.
The broader Ruddygore Project forms part of the company's portfolio of gold and base metals exploration assets in Queensland.
