AustralianSuper announced a further $500 million investment into India's National Investment and Infrastructure Fund to expand its global portfolio.
This new capital injection builds upon an initial $240 million commitment made seven years ago.
The fund stated that the original infrastructure partnership has been one of its top-performing investments.
The new transaction elevates the total value of the organisation's Indian asset holdings to $3.3 billion.
Following the announcement, the AustralianSuper share price was unchanged, as the organisation is an unlisted pension fund.
India established the state-backed infrastructure fund in 2015 to attract international institutional capital.
The pension giant currently manages $410 billion in total assets across various global markets.
