Australian Clinical Labs logs $$35.5M FY26 net profit

Australian Clinical Labs (ASX:ACL) reported an underlying net profit of $35.5 million for the 2026 financial year, representing a 4.3% increase compared to the previous reporting period.

Underlying EBIT climbed up to $69.2 million, while EPS inched up to 18.3 cents per share.

“Amid subdued GP attendance volumes, Medicare fee changes and persistent inflationary pressure, we maintained a clear focus on our strategy, improving margins year on year to 9.4%,” said Australian Clinical Labs CEO Melinda McGrath.

The company stated that it expects revenue between $745 million and $765 million for the 2027 financial year.

The company’s board declared a final fully franked dividend of 9.25 cents per share.

Looking towards selective expansion opportunities, following the announcement, the Australian Clinical Labs share price was unchanged at $2.66.

The business relies on a strategy of offsetting wage cost increases through automation and digital transformation.

The healthcare provider generates nearly 20% of its revenue from commercial contracts and genetics.
