Subiaco-based engineering firm Spritnex (ASX:SIX) announced a breakthrough in its global expansion strategy, progressing through the initial selection stage of a major procurement process within the United Kingdom's water utility sector.

The milestone marks a critical advancement for the company's specialist blower technologies, moving Spritnex and its exclusive UK distributor, Air End Repair, into the high-stakes contractual compliance and invitation to tender phases.

The progression serves as vital external validation of the company’s engineering capabilities and product platform within one of the world’s most rigorously regulated infrastructure environments.

The timing of this achievement is particularly strategic, as the UK water sector prepares to enter a massive £104 billion investment cycle spanning 2025 to 2030.

By providing high-efficiency blower upgrades, the company aims to secure a long-term role in multi-year wastewater upgrade programs.

Managing Director and CEO Jay Upton highlighted the importance of this development, noting that the selection process is notoriously rigorous and represents a high barrier to entry for new technologies.
