Australian gold miner Beacon Minerals (ASX:BCN) has declared a combined cash and share distribution valued at approximately $30.4 million.
The package comprises a fully franked cash dividend of $0.10 per share alongside a special distribution.
The special dividend consists of an aggregate 36,000,000 fully paid ordinary shares in Forrestania Resources (ASX:FRS).
The company stated that the distribution dividend represents an aggregate value of $18.5 million and 0.303 FRS shares per BCN share.
Following the announcement, the Beacon Minerals share price was up at $2.28.
Forrestania Resources recently expanded its global gold resources past one million ounces following an asset upgrade at its MacPhersons deposit.
Beacon Minerals previously operated the MacPhersons open-pit gold mine between 2023 and 2026 before mining ceased at the site.
