  • Auric Mining acquires a fixed plant processing equipment package for $1.2 million.
  • The company share price rose following the asset purchase announcement.
  • The equipment will be relocated to support the planned restart of the Burbanks processing plant.

Auric Mining (ASX:AWJ) has acquired a processing infrastructure package in New South Wales for $1.2 million to support its gold production plans.

The transaction secures critical crushing and milling equipment at a substantial discount to the estimated new replacement cost of $15 million to $20 million.

"This granted mining lease perfectly fits our strategy of acquiring near-term, gold production assets within trucking distance of the Burbanks Mill," said Auric Mining Managing Director Mark English.

The purchase includes a three-stage crushing circuit, fine ore bin, conveyors, milling structure, and spare crushers that contractor Interquip will begin relocating in late 2026.

The company stated that moving the infrastructure will keep the Burbanks processing facility re-establishment timeline on track for operational targeting in early 2028.

Following the announcement, the Auric Mining share price was up at $0.22.

The Western Australian miner is aiming to transform from a speculative explorer into a fully integrated gold producer using its local deposit assets.

Recent strategic moves by the business include acquiring the nearby Union Jack Project to expand its total gold resource inventory.
