Auravelle Metals finishes Nuckulla Hill drilling program
- Auravelle Metals completes a gold-focused aircore drilling programme at the Nuckulla Hill Project.
- Assays expected in October as the company expands the upcoming reverse circulation drilling programme.
- Drilling targets the shear zone adjacent to Barton Gold's 1.6-million-ounce gold resource.
Auravelle Metals (ASX:AUV) completed its gold-focused discovery aircore drilling programme at Nuckulla Hill in South Australia.
The completed exploration tested three priority targets within the prospective Yarlbrinda Shear Zone, which sits adjacent to Barton Gold Holdings Limited's (ASX:BGD) 1.6-million-ounce Tunkillia Gold Project.
Assays from the completed programme are expected mid- to late October.
Auravelle Managing Director Andrew Muir said, “While we await assay results, early geological observations are encouraging and support the prospectivity of these targets.”
The company stated that the scheduled reverse circulation drilling programme starting in October was expanded to focus on infill and extensional targets at Sheoak, Sheoak East, and Bimba.
Following the announcement, the Auravelle Metals share price was unchanged at $0.0070.
The explorer is focusing its active drilling efforts along key geological corridors across its South Australian project portfolio.
Auravelle Metals recently agreed to divest its Skeleton Rocks Project to streamline operations towards core gold assets.
