Atturra appoints Kunal Shah as new CFO
Atturra (ASX:ATA) appointed Kunal Shah as its CFO, effective July 6.
The transition follows an extensive formal search process initiated after current CFO Herb To announced his intention to retire on March 9.
To ensure a smooth, low-risk, and orderly transition, To will remain with the company and continue to support the leadership team until Sept. 1.
Shah is a highly respected member of the executive team who brings a wealth of financial, strategic, commercial, and operational experience to the position.
Having been with Atturra since its inception, he previously served as CFO prior to the company’s public listing in 2021.
He subsequently took on the responsibilities of company secretary and head of mergers and acquisitions, driving the group's strategic acquisition programme.
Atturra CEO Stephen Kowal expressed high confidence in the appointment, praising Shah’s unique combination of deep financial capability and detailed knowledge of the business.
Kowal noted that because Shah and To have worked closely together for many years, the company is exceptionally well placed to enter its next phase of growth.
Kowal extended his gratitude to the retiring CFO, acknowledging To’s significant contributions since 2022.
At the time of reporting, Atturra’s share price was $0.44.
