Atomo Diagnostics (ASX:AT1) has secured a material purchase order worth approximately $630,000 from the National Association of People with HIV Australia for the supply of HIV self-tests.

The order supports the federal government's ongoing national mail-out program, which provides free, discrete testing kits to high-risk communities. The initiative, which also receives promotional support from the social networking app Grindr, has reached individuals who were previously not testing.

Atomo CEO John Kelly noted that the partnership is critical for maintaining convenient access to diagnostic tools as the Australian government continues its commitment to decentralised public health solutions.

At the time of reporting, Atomo Diagnostics' share price was $0.039.
