- Management stated that the company remains focused on strategic priorities, including toll road rate cases and upcoming concession retenders.
Toll road operator Atlas Arteria (ASX:ALX) recorded a statutory net loss after tax of $73.3 million for the half year ended June 30.
The statutory loss contrasts with a $73.3 million net profit after tax reported in the prior corresponding period.
"Our results for H1 2026 were affected by a number of non-operating costs, as well as unfavourable foreign exchange movements," said Atlas Arteria CEO Hugh Wehby.
Non-operating expenses included costs to extinguish the Chicago Skyway put option held by OTPP for US$100 million alongside costs related to the IFM Takeover Offer, which saw IFM increase its interest to 67.4%.
The company reaffirmed its full-year distribution guidance of 40.0 cents per security.
Following the announcement, the Atlas Arteria share price was down at $4.76.
The company operates major international toll road networks across Europe and North America, including key concession assets in France.
Atlas Arteria stated that it continues to focus on unlocking cash flows at Dulles Greenway in Virginia following legislative reforms that streamlined future regulatory rate applications.
