ARN Media terminates Kyle Sandilands following misconduct

ARN Media (ASX:A1N) has officially terminated its contract with Kyle Sandilands and Quasar Media Services.

The decision results in the immediate cancellation of the long-running Kyle and Jackie O show.

The drastic action follows a formal notice issued on March 3, which cited Sandilands' behaviour during a Feb. 20 broadcast as "serious misconduct" and a fundamental breach of his services agreement.

Although the broadcaster was granted a 14-day window to remedy the breach, the company ultimately moved forward with the termination, marking a permanent fracture in one of the country's most prominent media partnerships.
