ARN Media (ASX:A1N) has taken the Kyle and Jackie O Show off-air effective immediately.

The decision follows a formal notice from Jacqueline "Jackie O" Henderson stating she can no longer work with long-time co-host Kyle Sandilands.

ARN has also terminated its agreement with Henderson Media but has offered Henderson a potential alternative role within the network.

The breakdown stems from a heated broadcast on Feb. 20 , during which the pair clashed over a segment regarding the arrest of Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor.

Sandilands criticised Henderson's interest in the topic, labelling her "unworkable" and claiming she was "off with the fairies."

The confrontation escalated as Sandilands alleged that Henderson was failing to perform her duties—a claim she vehemently denied on-air.

ARN has since issued a written notice to Sandilands and his company, Quasar Media, categorising his conduct during that episode as "serious misconduct" and a breach of contract.

Sandilands has been given 14 days to remedy the breach, during which time he is barred from the airwaves.

Failure to resolve the matter will result in the permanent termination of his contract.

The rupture threatens a 25-year partnership and a landmark $200 million deal signed in 2023.

While the KIIS breakfast slot remains dark, ARN is currently finalising interim arrangements for the show's Sydney and Melbourne audiences.
