Arika Resources secures full ownership of WA gold projects

Share

Arika Resources (ASX:ARI), alongside its wholly owned subsidiary KYM Mining, has finalised the acquisition of a 100% interest in the Yundamindra and Kookynie Gold Projects.

The outright ownership was secured from Nex Metals Exploration (ASX:NME) for a total consideration of $500,000 in cash and the issuance of 70.8 million Arika shares.

The equity component includes strict voluntary escrow conditions: 58.8 million shares will be released in 25% increments every three months over a 12-month period, whilst the remaining 12 million shares are escrowed for five years, subject to earlier cessation if specific milestone conditions are fulfilled.

The milestone transaction unifies full ownership of Arika's flagship Eastern Goldfields portfolio, giving the explorer complete operational and strategic flexibility across the Leonora-Laverton region.

Management notes that the consolidation enhances their capability to rapidly advance exploration and development opportunities.

Both the Yundamindra and Kookynie sites host multiple advanced gold targets, extensive historical workings, and substantial exploration upside.

The projects consist of already granted mining leases that benefit from close proximity to established infrastructure and operating processing facilities.

Arika is already gearing up for its next pivotal phase of drilling at both projects, with exploration activities officially scheduled to commence this June.
