Ardiden (ASX:ADV) has commenced a 15,000-metre Phase 1 diamond drilling program at its Rouyn Gold Project in Québec, Canada, marking a key milestone in advancing the project’s growth potential.
The drilling is focused on the Astoria Project Area, a high-priority target within the eastern portion of the Rouyn mineralised corridor, an area with a history of mining activity.
The program is designed to test extensions of known mineralisation both along strike and at depth, as well as to identify new mineralised zones, enhancing geological confidence and supporting future resource growth.
"Commencing drilling at Rouyn is an important milestone for the company," said Managing Director Andrew Stocks.
"This Phase 1 program has been carefully planned to systematically test priority targets, beginning with Astoria. With the rig now turning, we look forward to delivering a steady flow of results to the market as the program progresses."
