Anson Resources (ASX:ASN) has secured regulatory approval for a mining operation to produce 10,000 tonnes of lithium carbonate annually.
This final major approval resolves prior government permitting uncertainties that had prevented the company from setting clear project milestones.
"The end of the permitting process takes the company into the next critical phase of project financing," said Anson Resources Executive Chairman and CEO Bruce Richardson.
The company stated that a revised layout is expected to reduce infrastructure needs and project construction costs.
Following the announcement, the Anson Resources share price was unchanged at $0.07.
