Anson Resources (ASX:ASN) concluded its initial exploration drilling programme at the Yellow Cat Uranium Vanadium Project in Utah, USA, yielding evidence of resource continuity.

The programme, executed through its subsidiary UV1 Minerals, involved 23 drill holes targeted at the Eastern claim block, approximately 3.5km east of known historical resources.

The campaign has confirmed that uranium and vanadium mineralisation extends over a 2,500-metre strike length, effectively bridging the gap between the historical Cactus Rat and McCoy Group mine sites.

Aircore drilling intercepted thick mineralised zones of up to 2m, with radioactive signatures consistently measuring between 0.5 to 2mR/hr on Ludlum Model 3 survey metres.

The mineralisation is primarily hosted within the sandstone units of the Morrison Formation, appearing as interstitial material and grain coatings.

The findings are particularly significant given the project’s high-grade pedigree; previous sampling in the area has returned exceptional values of up to 10.33% U₃O₈ and 25.6% V₂O₅.

Due to the "pinch and swell" geological nature of the deposits, the company opted to tighten drill spacing during the programme to ensure higher data density.

All samples have been dispatched to a certified laboratory for comprehensive assaying, including testing for associated critical minerals like gallium and rare earth elements.

At the time of reporting, Anson Resources’ share price was $0.044.
