Ansell (ASX:ANN) announced the resignation of its CFO, Brian Montgomery.
After a tenure marked by strategic transformation, Montgomery is set to depart the company to assume the CFO role at Hologic, a US-based medical technology firm recently valued at approximately US$18 billion following its acquisition.
Ansell has initiated a formal search process with a professional recruitment firm to identify a permanent successor.
To ensure organisational stability during this period, Fred Marx has been appointed as acting CFO, effective immediately.
Marx is currently the Vice President of Corporate FP&A, strategy, and transformation at Ansell and brings over two decades of senior leadership expertise to the position.
His extensive history with the company includes pivotal roles such as Vice President of finance for global operations and supply chain and finance director for the Americas and medical division.
Marx has navigated the company through a previous CFO transition in an acting capacity.
Nathalie Ahlström, Managing Director and CEO of Ansell, expressed her gratitude for Montgomery’s contributions, highlighting his role in strengthening the company’s financial discipline and strategic direction.
Ahlström noted that while the board completes the global search for a permanent replacement, she remains confident in the leadership provided by Marx.
At the time of reporting, Ansell’s share price was $27.50.
